The refinance process was very quick.
1. Scheduling appointment to sign closing documents: it took several calls, half were not returned by PennyMac. Finally we scheduled an appointment via a live phone conversation, but didn't receive any email confirmation. We called PennyMac as date approached to confirm, but no reply to our Emails or Voicemails-they didn't actually schedule it! So we had to schedule another date. 2. Closing docs: I saw 2 errors & send 3 emails & 1 voicemail with zero response & they weren't fixed.

the actual refinance day was frustrating. we had set a time but then later changed it & it was changed days before the appointment (was at 3 & moved to 5) but this info was never changed w/the guy who was doing the closing. & we were told we could use a personal check and we couldn't so then we had to run around the next morning to get a bank check, which we had planned on getting before we were told we could use a personal check.
Penny Mac associates were very friendly and efficient during my loan refinance process.
Kristen, and the whole staff at PennyMac did a great job in processing our loan experience. We had a change to our application 1 week before closing. Kristen went out if her way to make sure we could close on time Would highly recommend PennyMsc to anyone wishing to buy a home.
Jesse was great to work with explaining everything thoroughly and communicating on a regular basis. Overall high satisfaction with the entire process!
