my experience with Jacob was great. He was very communicative and consistently kept us informed on the loan process. He explained all of the steps clearly and was clear in what documents were needed. No confusion during the process at all. Very happy with his performance.
the actual refinance day was frustrating. we had set a time but then later changed it & it was changed days before the appointment (was at 3 & moved to 5) but this info was never changed w/the guy who was doing the closing. & we were told we could use a personal check and we couldn't so then we had to run around the next morning to get a bank check, which we had planned on getting before we were told we could use a personal check.
The terms of several Closing Disclosures were inaccurate, even on the one we used to finally close. -first CD included cash to Homeowner, which was not requested -another CD included Escrow, which was not requested -another CD did not include applying our our current loan Escrow to pay down our current mortgage/loan The actual closing with the Notary was smooth Rachel Harris in particular was very helpful in finally getting this all resolved. The whole process took 3 months.
Kristen, and the whole staff at PennyMac did a great job in processing our loan experience. We had a change to our application 1 week before closing. Kristen went out if her way to make sure we could close on time Would highly recommend PennyMsc to anyone wishing to buy a home.
