Let me start by saying Blen was the only good part of this transaction. She tried her best to keep us in the loop even when the loan officer and title company did a poor job. First we were told we needed an inspection (termite) we did not need, then we were told to pay $650 for the appraisal which I paid only to have you guys charge me $800. The underwriters and title companies created huge delays and frustration. I tried calling, but was only allowed to talk to Blen. She deserves better as do
Very easy and not alot of issues. I would recommend and thought the communication was very proactive.
There was confusion on the company used for closing which caused us to wait for one company only to be informed after calling that there was a mixup and the closing had to be rescheduled. Also, we were sent three copies of the closing document for esignature due to errors in the documentation.
I never got answers to emails. I could not upload documents to portal. Had to send via email and they never confirmed receipt. Had to send documents multiple times because he did not put on the portal. The worst experience ever. I still don’t know how my credit cards are being paid off. What happens to the difference because the balances are less. Plus the monthly payment was more than what was on the closing disclosure! I can’t wait to get away from Pennymac!

Jason was very helpful called every couple of days keep me in the loop on what was going on throughout this last loan refinance process it was the fastest ever and everyone was great all the way to the person that came out to do the notary thank you Penny Mac
Jesse was clear and concise when describing my options to refinance in the beginning. From that point forward, the processing of my loan was a different story. Upon logging into the portal, many of my documents weren’t accepted via Safari browser (or so I was told) and I had to email separately. Additionally, several requests were made for the same documents due to a change in loan officers midway through. Subsequently, my loan did not close in time and they charged my a late fee of $57.31.
