Vonnye, helped to ensure the process was smooth and we had everything in order for closing.
The whole process took 5 months - way too long. Several documents were requested more than once. I suppose most of the issues experienced were mostly because so many involved were working from home, and therefore not getting the normal communications. I chalk up my unpleasant experience to COVID. But Pennymac did not manage these crazy circumstances well. Be all that as it may, the process eventually was completed, and I write it off as water under the bridge.
Faster communication when questions are asked would be great. I would also have preferred to have been able to speak with Jason over the phone rather than through email.
The process was as simple and easy as possible. The process was much faster than I anticipated. The representatives were always friendly and helpful with any questions.
Everyone I spoke with was very nice and answered all my questions. And also explained things that I did not understand.
I didn’t answer “excellent” for all questions for the following reason. I was locked in on a quote July 2nd and after the long weekend, July 7th, my quote had changed. No one in the company could explain it whatsoever and I spent weeks trying to get an answer that never came. This was not with Caprecia, this was my first agent who left pennymac during my loan processing.
Rachel was great to work and answered all of our questions. Everything went smoothly and we closed sooner than expected.
Absolutely pathetic experience.. And i will be extremely upset if you had me sign some documentation to request the closure of My home equity line of credit.
No communication for day/weeks at a times. No level of perosnalized service continuity. Loan officer and processor unresponsive often. Had to escalate to manager then would get call backs.
