Mr. Lusk was great he stayed in constant communication with me and when issues did occur with title company he was quick to resolve them. He made my experience with a complex process very reassuring and not a burden. I am very pleased with all his answers and going the extra mile to help us with refinancing our loan. When I first started dealing with PennyMac the service I recieved from Ruben Sanchea was excellent, once he passed my account to Dominick it was almost as nice. Once Doninick handed my account over to Vonney Wade it was a total NIGHTMARE. the woman never responded to myself or my agent we had to make several calls on the same subject she made my stress levels go through the roof to the point I got physically ill. I will never finance through PennyMac again.
The loan processing agent was not helpful, often antagonistic, did not provide requested information when asked. Closing documents were done improperly by PennyMac multiple times and resulted in significant delay in closing. I had to go through significant effort to contact PennyMac in Order to get the loan closed. I was not reimbursed for the cost of the delay. I was not informed of the cost of the points for the loan. I had to go through customer service multiple times. Terrible.
What would have made my experience better with PennyMac better. COMMUNICATION! During the loan application process I was told I a member of my MacTeam would contact me weekly with a status update, this rarely if ever happened. Frequently a member of the MacTeam would contact me requesting documents that had already been uploaded to the portal. I found my loan processor to be completely unreachable by telephone and he infrequently responded to emails.
Tristan, Jordan, and the team were Amazing! They were always polite and respectful, no matter how frustrated i may have been. They explained the process well so it was not confusing at all. They all deserve a raise!

Both Jason Staples and Christopher Cruz were very easy to work with and helpful. They answered all of our questions and made the process as painless as possible. We would absolutely recommend them to our friends.
