From my initially contacting a PennyMac loan officer to my experience with a processor and notary for closing, the entire refinancing experience was professional, courteous, and expeditious.
Having a "team" work on my loan sounds great, but in reality, it just means that I never talked to the same person more than once or twice. It felt more like I was being passed along to the next person. Put the loan funded so I guess there's that.
Information and updates on the process were communicated clearly and timely.
Jordan & the M.A.C. Team were very pleasant to work with. Everything went smooth. We only had a minor hick up with the Loan Disclosure form but it was taken care off right away.
Emails weren't answered very quickly, and I had left voicemails as well. Some of the document requests were a bit confusing, as well as where to upload them in the portal. Very kind people that were knowledgeable, but the process itself was a tiny bit rough.
Home Eq loan was to convert downstairs bathtub to shower. After taking care of my deceased disabled vet husband I realized it would be smart for me to convert for me when it's time. Needless to say I didn't receive enough funds after paying bills you say needed to paid to meet your ratio even though I have A1 credit. Chris numbers wasn't same numbers on closing papers, he never called back to go over numers even after I questioned the numbers with Ms Harris. I have never felt so disconnected.
Overall good experience. It seemed that the only way documents were received was if I sent them directly to the loan officer rather than upload to the portal. The portal did not really work. However, the loan officer was very helpful and friendly!
The process was quick and all the information was clearly explained.
