Though Blem provide excellant customer service to me,I strongly feel the Pennymac Appraisal team dropped the ball on communication with the Appraisal company, on expediting the amended appraisal. Even though I was informed by the Appraisal company that the amended appraisal was sent to Pennymac, it was never provided, so I opted to go with the original appraisal to expedite closing. Thank you Blen for assisting us through this stressful process.

My loan processor was excellent however if she was out of the office I wouldn’t get a call back or get my questions answered my loan officer was extremely difficult to get in contact with. I felt like that once I signed up for the refinance my business wasn’t appreciated or valued.At one point of the process I even contacted a competitive Wells Fargo got approved for a lower rate almost went with them but came back to Penny Mac because I was too close to the closing process

Although some documents were requested twice (pay stubs) I do not blame Jordan. I just equate it to covid-19 and everything taking longer. Jordan and the whole team were excellent1

Overall the loan experience went well, except as we went to closing. The closing documents were different than what we expected and what we were told they would be. We were told that we would not need to bring any funds to the table. When we went to closing, we not only had funds to pay, but it was more than an earlier estimate. Nothing worse than getting surprised at closing. At the same time, the people we worked with were very friendly and professional. They addressed all our concerns.

The website that is used to upload documents is not good. I couldn’t upload anything after the initial upload so I had to email items and they were not received then I had to email them multiple times. The process was not easy to get in touch with the team and or get a response.
