Not sure if it's Covid, but initial correspondence with Patrick was great, exciting even because of rates a speed expected to close. Documents were requested from a variety of agents. This was confusing we lost the ability of knowing who the "point" person was that we were to communicate with. Especially when we got little response back. Finally Ariel became the person that answered most of our questions. Closing amounts incorrect, made 2 trips for closing checks. Closing agent was fantastic.
The closing department tried to make me use a closing attorney that i did not choose. I had provided my attorney's information initially on the application paperwork. This caused the closing to be delayed 3 weeks, 2 of which the closing department still tried to insist their attorney be used.

Every thing that that we needed done it was done, we just had to wait little long for some paper work but other wise everything was great and it was done.
I refinanced my home loan during a global pandemic. That statement alone would be enough to make a person believe that the process must have been difficult, but only the contrary was true.
