I had no problems with Nicholas. He was always available to answer questions and didn't pressure us like other companies reps did. It was a pleasure working with him.
The info I got from the originator compared to what I got from the processor was very different. It set expectations that were not reasonable and until the possessor got in touch with me weeks after, I was unsure if the refi was still even a possibility.
PennyMac has been my mortgage company for several years. I love that this company has never sold my loan...it's really about relationship. From the Loan Officer (A.T.) and Home Loan Specialist (C.J.), they are always professional, provides guidance and very responsive to inquires. I will continue refer others to PennyMac because of their outstanding service. D. Johnson
First of all, Carolyn is a liar, didn't do her job, and incompetent. My closing was delayed by one week without any clear communications for the timeline. I lost one full month of rent in the amount of $3200. If I'm not compensated for this by PennyMac, I will make sure that I leave reviews everywhere so that other people will not become victim of poor and unprofessional service and put themselves at financial risk. It was the worst experience ever with a mortgage company.
When I called to get an update I was not given one and was treated like I was bothering them. The process took over 2.5 months to close. I will go into more detail but am not given enough space here to provide it.
communication wasnt the best especially from being out of state. Closing was suppose to be early and wasnt. Two many people involved. And then day of actual closing Justing wasnt even in the office, and didnt communicate that so I was caught off guard with closing questions etc. I had a random woman call me that day.
Not having two separate portal areas to have to add documents. Having to sign documents six times throughout due to multiple recalculation is ridiculous. Having documents that have my wrong ssn and being asked to “just sign anyway” is unacceptable. Having to resend the same documents multiple times because the portal or individual said it was not received after they had already provided confirmation on the document.
Other than binging slow to response to emails every thing was done in a professional matter.
