I had no communication from PennyMac for weeks, only to have to call every day to get updated information. After pressing hard enough I was told additional explanatory documentation was required and that was what was holding up our closing date. I have no confidence that had I not pressed we would have closed within 60 days, let alone within the timeframe I was given first of 30 days. I have no confidence that without my persistence we would have not had to pay for a rate lock extension.
I do not wish to add any other comments about this survey for PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, as I feel this is just taking up my time durning my weekend and would like to do other things with my day other then writing this incredibly long commented sentence just so this survey from PennyMac Loan Services, LLC will let me hit the "Post My Review" button and continue on with my day.
While Rhonda was great to work with and I would recommend her, the process was cumbersome for me. A lot of documents were asked for that I thought was unnecessary or the level of detail was way to much and made the process drag on. I hear other mortgage companies do not ask for all the information PennyMac asked for. In addition, it seem unnecessary because I already have a loan with you so the company should have had all the information they needed from processing my original loan with the

We love PennyMac and will definitely use them again if we ever buy another home. Justen Hunt is great at his job!
I have to start out by saying I am a Mortgage Processing Manager with Chase, so I have high expectations on customer service as I do my team. Communication was very poor and when I escalated my issues to Ceista manager Chris I never got a call back even after leaving a few messages. I understand that everyone is overwhelmed with everyone taking advantage of low rates, but as a processor and process manager you have to control what you can control and communication is what you can control.
All my answers of flawless customer service is exclusive to Brandon Schneider. Up until we started working with him, our experience wasn't so pleasant. We felt pretty much ignored for two months until Brandon took over and walked us through step by step and called with frequent checkups weekly. He is pretty much the reason we continued with our loan process with penny mac. He was very clear as to where we stood in the loan process. A big thank you is well deserved for Brandon, so please do.
An overall good experience from start to finish. They made the refinancing process as seamless as possible.
I emailed the customer support email I was given and no one responded. I left a voicemail to a number I was given in an email. And no one called me back.
