I emailed the customer support email I was given and no one responded. I left a voicemail to a number I was given in an email. And no one called me back.

It all went well, except that it took a lot longer than expected. Process began with Application submission on 7/28/20 and closing was on 10/15/20. Not that big of a deal for me as I was simply waiting on the process.

After signing closing documents...I had lingering questions and left 4 msgs with my assigned processing officer with no call back. In addition, left a msg with the supervisor and again no call back. In the end, my questions were answered through several communication attempts with customer service. I also understand with rate being this low they are all busy.

The whole process went smooth and fast. It was great talking to knowledgeable people instead of a dumb computer. That is one of the many reasons I used Pennymac for my last three mortgages.

Due to seller pushbacks on closing PennyMac was allotted 3 extra weeks to finish everything they needed to for us to close on the final extend date. I called Ray and left a message a week before closing to let him know sender had all required doc to close and due PennyMac sitting on our paperwork we had to extend closing again. But this time due to their fault after already having 3 weeks of extensions past initial closing date. Also, having loan processors sharing one joint email address.
