In these challenging times dealing with COVID-19, taking the steps to refinance my house was a bit scary and I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do. I took the leap and was so surprised at how easy the process to refinance was via the phone and email. First, Andrea was great, but I only had interaction for the last week or so, as the person previously assigned to my file was no longer with PennyMac. My experience with that individual ( Marques Lusk?) Was mediocre at best and tarnished my entire perspective of the process with PennyMac. I would have never expected a refi with my current lender to take over 100 days. I also would expect the associates working my file and pushing things through do more than check the box. Good riddens.
Closing documents were not correct on the day of closing, resulting in having to reschedule closing.
