Our closing date was pushed 3 times due to Justen. He repeatedly asked for documents that we had already given him. He repeatedly asked for rent documentation for a home that we owned previously (and that mortgage had also been with PennyMac). We told him by phone and email at least four times between Sept 3rd and Sept 17th, that we had owned the home that he wanted d the appraisal a week prior to closing, despite the fact that we had already paid for the appraisal ahead of then.
Smooth as butter
Everything about the process was extremely easy and smooth. Received continual updates from Andrea as we moved through the process and any questions I had were properly answered. Overall it was a great experience.
Ryan was very pleasant and helpful and always available to answer a call. The originating Loan Officer was professional, pleasant and very quick to process my request.
Gina and Ryan were thorough from the beginning of the process. Gina communicated with weekly calls early on even if there was not much to update. While there were duplicate document requests which could have resulted in frustration, Gina researched the situation and resolved the issues quickly. The process took a little longer than expected but we understand there have been an overwhelming amount of loans and refinances to close. The closing process was organized and efficient.
Communication was horrible towards the end of the process. Title company and I couldn’t reach anyone at PennyMac for days. Closing went past the original date set and we weren’t informed.
This was so easy! Joya Lewis is the bomb! She made sure I knew where my application was every step of the way! She made this TOO EASY!
