Carolyn was great to start off. Always prompt and responsive. My bad experience was not her fault at all. The issue is there is a disconnect between them and the reviewers. Last minute I was being asked for documents that take time to get. Also I started off with Daniel and he was in communication with my real estate agent. Then, further into the loan process he fell off and Carolyn took over and my agent not aware was still reaching out to Daniel and not getting a response. Also had an issue wi

I had a great experience from being to end with PennyMac. It's been refreshing to work with a company that has great customer policies and great customer service reps.
Christine was very accessible and she either answered my calls directly or called me back promptly to answer any questions I had. She was great through the process.
I was asked several times for documents that had been previously supplied. The notary handling my closing was sent my closing documents & contact information 6 hours prior to my closing appointment. The final amount owed at closing had changed from the information I had access to on the PennyMac website. My cashiers check was now for too much. This should have been a pretty simple transaction since I was refinancing an existing PennyMac loan, but it took over 90 days.
My loan officer made everything simple and efficient! Thank you!
Really appreciated everyone who I worked with from Penny Mac and their associated counterparts through this process. More than anything for their determination to do right by me, their efforts to make sure I understood all facets of the loan process, and the effectiveness with which my loan was completed. The process exceeded my expectations.
