PennyMac was unable to produce a appraiser. My realtor had to find one. We nearly lost the sale because of this egregious delay. When calling PennyMac you always spoke with someone different and would get different responses. Although I was "assigned" to Josie, I could not call her directly. I had to go through their phone system and typically she would call me back after explaining the whole situation to someone different. It was a part time job (for me!) to get this loan processed. The loan process was painless. Definitely recommend pennymac
No transparency or communication. Denied for a reason that was not true. Terrible customer service. Was told I would receive a call back and never did. Will not ever work with Pennymac in the future.
