Jesika was pleasant to work with, when I could get a hold of her. Areas for improvement: 1. communication on timeline (1 week from initial closing date I still had no communication from Jesika that we would not close on time (not her fault, builders fault and pennymac red tape that delayed), it was only after directly asking if we would close on time that I was given a straight answer. 2. My experience working with Sara Almanza made the whole loan process smoother. There were a few bumps in the road, but with Sara's experience an awesome personality she was able to weather every storm. Pennymac is very reliable and helpful. They have phone availability and you speak to people here in America. They have helped through multiple financial situations, both of which were resolved. For me, they have been a good company and I recommend them.
Had the team been in better communication. This is not specifically on Damian, I had to constantly call and send the same documents repeatedly. This caused my refinance to be temporarily declined. This isn’t my first refinance through PennyMac so I hope this was the exception.
