Communication was good and everything went smooth.
I locked my rate with PennyMac on 7-2-2020. I supplied every document to PennyMac that was requested of me right away. I signed loan docs on 12-2-2020. I got an e-mail from Raveena that the loan was funded on 12-14-2020. On 12-19-2020 I was informed by my old mortgage lender that they never received the payoff from PennyMac. This process took over 5 months - I have never seen a re-fi take more than 3 or 4 weeks. I am way past upset. On 12-19-2020 I made a loan payment to my old lender.
Kelsey was great to work with. I was always informed about matters via email or by phone in this covid 19 era in a timely manner.
