Easy process. Great experience.
We were told we needed a witness to be at our closing in addition to my spouse and I. Asked a family member to attend, which was a big inconvenience. Only to be told by the notary that we did not need a witness and it was a waste for them to be here. Our notary was late to the closing, however they did text and communicate they were running late. 10 minutes before they arrived, notary requested a copy of our drivers licenses. This was the first time anyone said to have these prepared.

The overall process took less than 6 weeks from initial discussions on refinancing. Overall the PennyMac team was straightforward and easy to work with.
Been to the process before it was easy , smooth. This time around felt abandoned, no guidance , no communication , no respect for my requests and treated poorly from A to Z. Coronavirus cannot ne use as an excuse to not provide customer service and accurate information especially during such an important process like refinancing. I felt like no one enjoy working at penny Mac and made the customer suffer. 4 months process ridiculous
My loan officer Jazmyne Rogers was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very professional and communicated with me during the entire process.
The Team & I emailed from day 1. Once the Loan went to closing phone contact was attempted. No email contact. There was a HUGE phone issue between PennyMac and myself. I would hear the call and Hello, then absolutely nothing. They couldn't hear me. I got no voicemail notifications. My loan closing was delayed by 1 week. The closing "event" was totally a cluster and very last minute. The reps were all very nice and helpful. The details were very bad. All people were the best!
