Quick and accurate service. Grrat communication through the entire process
Jason was great. The guy I had prior to him was the one that dropped the ball and delayed the process, and the customer service reps also were frustrating. The minute I got Jason as my rep, things went smoothly and I am glad I decided to stay with PennyMac.
The team was very attentive and overall pretty responsive. The loan took longer than I expected to close, but I applied at a busy time and I got a great deal, so who am I to complain.

Communication was lacking IN THE BEGINNING with the original Mac team member, Ms. Ramirez- did not return our phone calls and emails and seemed overwhelmed by her position. Mr. Kapaun however, was very helpful in closing our refinance and was the main reason we didn’t end up going elsewhere in our frustration.
My experience in the beginning was nice till I paid the 100$ on application. After that the communication was poor, I wasn't getting the required help and had to spent too much time finding answers. After I raised complaints, Kelly L took over and things got better. Kelly L was excellent. Over all clarity and customer education can improve.
The process took over 3 months to close. Documents were requested more than once. Multiple loans were set up for the same refinance request. People were not often easy to get in contact with. It did not seem like anyone was on the same page. It's a miracle this ever closed.
My experience was awesome, can't believe how quickly you made this happen for me.
A better direct line of communication. Many times I had to email a different agent to get a response. Maybe a more direct weekly approach. I shouldn’t have to come to you to ask what’s going on. Weekly updates and reassurance lessens stress on the borrower.
