Good expereince.
The time between contacts and requests for documents was inordinately long. I worked with a total of 5 different ing the process. Since I already had one with PennyMac , I that would result in a reasonably speedy process. That clearly wasn’t”t the case.
The initial loan officer started the loan at the beginning of April, I closed on July 27th, simply because another loan processor had to pick up the loan, start over, rerun my credit and get all documentation a second time. After at least 10 straight days of emails, phone calls and then 2 straight days of being on the phone for over 4 hours each day, I was finally put in touch with Lauren, she pushed to get things done , but also ran into obstacles and was just left hanging with no resolution.
You need to have agents with a better attitude towards your costumers.
It was a quick and easy process. I’m so glad i refinanced.
I had a first hand great experience from the onset of my interaction with the loan officer which creates lasting impression throughout the loan process/closings.
Molly specifically was very helpful. My Loan advocate (Reid) started out good and then was poor with communication and more than a few times failed to do what he said he would do. The process took to long and I had a close failure the first time because the team failed to understand what was happening and communicate/navigate it (I have a second mortgage, that we did not refinance). It was a cumbersome and frustrating process.
Their number issue was communication. I was responsible for follow-up on my loan and its status; I spoke with many individauls that told me they were too busy to help me and most phone calls were never returned at all. The second issue would be that the data was inaccurate and not checked or verified before given to me. As an example my final Closing Disclosure paperwork changed 3 times due to errors I pointed out. I signed over two weeks ago and just a two days ago they sent me a 4th change.
