An offer was worked out for me far as closing cost but then when it got the loan processor I believe it was I was told something else but Jan worked it out, then it took 3 attempts for me close,twice the attorney said they never did receive my paperwork from the title company and it took for someone from PennyMac to give me the title company # for me to reach out to them myself and get this resolved myself and finally on the 3rd attempt I was able to close.

The overall process went very smoothly (especially for an industry I don't know well) - I was able to get some money back at closing, lower my monthly payment, and lower my rate. All pain free!

Better communication between departments of retail and loan servicing. I was stressed when my old loan was flagged for almost being late with payment while my new loan was still funding. With the uncertainty of what my actual new payment would be, the cost of closing, the uncertainty of when it would actually close, the change in some of my employment due to Corona virus, I lived the month of march in constant worry about what would happen. It's not all due to Penny Mac. It was a weird month.

Our loan officer, Jesse, was incompetent and slow to respond. Plus, on more than one occasion, we received pdf documents that were inaccurate. The amounts did not match what was in PennyMac's system, and this was extremely frustrating.
