Deion Smith was outstanding - he was very responsive and professional. If I called or emailed him, I would quickly get a response. Hector Centeno however was the complete opposite as I had to continuously chase him down because calls and emails would go unanswered for days. I would then have to circle back to Deion for help. Hector also supplied me with wrong closing information which forced me to change my rate. Closing took 4 months and the paperwork was still incorrect.
Michelle responds in a timely manner, very accomodating. We did close sooner as originally plan 😊
Well, it was easy all the way through! And then I brought a money order for closing and found out I was getting money back instead! So bad on the accuracy of closing costs, but great anyways cause I was getting money back!
We started the app on 9/4 and were told that day we'd close before 10/15. We didn't close until 11/9. A better timeframe prediction would have been better. We can wait, but tell us it'll take 60+ days. And it took weeks for us to get answers many times. But the process itself was easy, just long & sometimes took many days to get questions answered. We knew it would be a busy time for PM. Would just suggest setting realistic expectations to clients first.
Lauryn has been great to work with. She's meticulous and detail oriented with great customer service mind set from start to finish.
Process was easy and very stress free.
Tim was very polite and corteous so I do not fault him. There were significant problems with communications between the different departments processing my application , for example, I would get emails from one department requesting documents that tim would check on and tell me that the documents were already there. My process began in september and ended in december, which felt too long.
I am satisfied with the services I receive from PennyMac.
There was a confusion regarding the closing cost. However, Monisha came to the rescue, she explained and resolved everything. I was very pleased with her help and service. I have used Penny Mac with our 2 last purchases and refinancing and will always recommend them to family and friend (2 have switched in the last 6 months!).
