My responses are purely based on my experiences with this Rep. This should’ve been very easy for him as all documents had already been provided/uploaded. All he had to do was keep me updated with progress. I think I heard from him once and then when he called to advise of my Closing, which turned into a disaster until VP of Loans had to be brought in. Final #s were incorrect which caused a delay in paperwork being sent to Title. He NEVER called me to advise of any of this.

I heard from my loan processor Nick Batten every week to keep me updated. He called me when documents were needed immediately. He helped me understand the process and answered all of my questions without making me feel uncomfortable. I appreciated all of his assistance throughout this whole process. Nick made this process a lot easier than I expected. Thanks to the whole PennyMac team.

The underwriter kept asking for the same things again and again. Additionally, there were two different portals to upload documents. You should only have one and request all documents at one time. The underwriter should directly deal with the homeowners especially if the file is too complex. The level of communication and service was terrible. There were too many people involved. I dealt with 6 different people while trying to refinance a loan PennyMac already had.

The staff, Brittany and Jason are fantastic. They are ready to help make your process easy. I have recommended Jason to a friend for his refinance and will continue to do so as often as possible.
