Great team and very professional. Kept me informed through the entire process.
My sole reason for refinancing was to either 1) cash out or 2) ELIMINATE PMI Wasn’t able to do no. 1 so I expressed that it was important to accomplish number 2. In reviewing my documents prior to closing I notice the lump sum for PMI as part of the expenses. I called and spoke to PennyMac about it. Was told this lump sum would get rid of PMI. Ok fine. Now in reviewing my new loan not only did I pay or absorb a lump sum payment for PMI. THE PMI PAYMENT DOUBLED. $169 to $327. Thanks
Better communication so I did not have to reach out multiple times to get an answer. I am still waiting to hear why my escrow refund was only pennies when the estimate was for over $300. Seems to be difficult to access anyone to help.
The process was easy and quicker than I expected. The communication from Nathan was good with the exception of our needing to have a witness present when we signed. We would definitely use PennyMac again.

Good people. Very helpful and courteous. Closing was easy and timely done in the comfort and convenience of my own home. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in either a new mortgage or a refinance of their current one.
Nicholas was great, start to finish. The title company in which you used for this closing should be fired and never used again. They were a disaster and the First closing attorney Was a disaster as well. Truly if is werent for Nicholas and the 2nd closing attorney, I would have cancelled the whole deal.
PennyMac team made the refinance process from start to finish easy.
Overall got a great rate and closing on time.
