My recent refinance experience with PennyMac was stellar. The process went smoothly, swiftly, and efficiently. All the Mac team were very responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and yet professional. My refinance was closed in about a month from start to finish. I could reach a live person on the team who could answer my questions. Great people to work with!
It was rarely clear whom I was supposed to communicate with when I had questions. I would call customer service, long wait time, and frequently got conflicting answers. An attempt too contact Jonathan Weiss by email, went unanswered. I finally reached Antoine in customer service who steered me back to Jonathan. He fully explained why customer service could not give me current information, because they did not yet have my new loan number. I did reachJonathan and he was helpful.
