I am very upset and turned off by Peoria Ford. First the service dept. encouraged (tried to sell us) on having some work done that was not necessary at this point in time for our vehicle. Second once we came to pick up our truck and pay, they informed us that WE would have to pay the 3% credit card fee unless we decided to use our debit card! This is totally unacceptable. They are dishonest. They are liars and will switch up numbers on you when you go into finance. Hassan is the biggest crook I know. He tries to make you all comfortable and starts adding on things without telling you there is a charge for that. This man added on a LoJack and I was like why did you put on a lojack he was like oh the car comes with it. There was no itemized statement. I get sales calls almost weekly about buying my "2020 F-150" or my "2021 Explorer" which I've told them I don't have...and never purchased a vehicle from them. I have told them countless times to take me off their list yet the calls and voicemails still come in....extremely annoying that they don't listen to people...I usually buy a vehicle once every 12-18 months...I won't buy from them or recommend them to anyone due to this...
Service Department is a Scam! In July, during a oil change and tire rotation, I suddenly needed an additional $1,700 worth of service including filters, brakes down to 4mm and a battery. I was skeptical and informed them I return at a later date. I ordered the replacement filters and replaced them myself, partially as a check and balance. I should have known better! Someone had totaled my vehicle and we rushed to replace it on a sale weekend without consulting Yelp. I contacted several dealerships via the internet to get an online price. I asked for an email, but got a 6a call instead. The salesman worked hard for my business and provided me with all of the details that I asked for. The salesman talked us into coming in to look at the vehicle. So we did. I took my F250 diesel in for service. I was having an issue with my windshield washer not dispensing fluid. They found some other things that needed attention one being the fuel filter, and the hydraulic lifters for the hood. My daughter dropped the truck off and they sent me a detailed list repairs and cost To approve since I was out of town. After weeks of trying to contact Beverly, I finally got ahold of her, she said she would follow up by end of day, 10/01, she did not, but had the director of sales contact me. He indicated the dealership added additional features that should be listed on the laminated sticker (not included when I purchased the vehicle and the features he mentioned I do not have, like door guards). If you give them your phone number or business once, I suggest getting a burner phone. They will never stop calling you. No matter how many times you request the do not...the still will...for years.
I think you missed the point, Josh. Understanding your 'thoroughness' with my vehicle, I simply had an oil change and a tire replaced. I arrived at 8am and was there till almost 6pm. Is that normal at Peoria Ford? Is it normal for a service guy, Joe, to NOT tell me there was no tire there and hold me there for an entire shift? Oil change and tire replacement. That was it.
