went in to look at maybe getting a new car. didn't need one just made sense to trade in my 2017 escape which i bought at peoria ford! i ended up w a 2024 escape loved it! they waited to tell me i needed 7000 down. i get i don't have amazing credit but im doing everything to work on it! they should have never let me leave w the vehicle until they knew everything was good! needless to say i got my 2017 back! finance managers here shld atleast have an idea of where i would have been with the experience they supposedly have but ... read more
Absolutely HORRIBLE service and nothing but manipulation and games! Told me they could get my payment to $600 and made sure before I let them run my credit. They came back and said $742 unless I wanted to do a flex payment aka a balloon payment. Told me I was threatening them and manager started raising his voice and told me good luck somewhere else. Will never ever ever buy a vehicle from them. Absolutely disgusted
Peoria Ford is filled with people that have no sense of communication or empathy. I needed an oil change and booked online and it allowed for appointments on 9/2 (Labor Day). I was so grateful that they were stating they were open because my schedule is insane so I'm not always the most available when it comes to appointments. Just bad business all around... people in positions that shouldn't even be there handling clients. Working for them was a absolute disaster, sold a car out from under me and one of my personal clients (after i had the "okay" to PICK UP MY CLIENT IN THE CAR THEY WERE BUYING) due to greed and unprofessionalism. Can you give zero stars? I would if I could. We walked out without even seeing the vehicle we went to see. Was it a bait and switch scenario? Did they use paid actors as "other customers"? Such a bizarre experience that I cannot truly put into words.
I took my 2022 Ford Maverick (27k miles and still under the factory warranty) in to Peoria Ford for a problem on Monday with a "Pedestrian Sounder Fault" that popped up over the weekend. The Service Writer assigned it to their "Trim Department" and told me it would take two to three days to repair. Called back Tuesday and no progress had been made. Zero if I could. I was told and agreed on only borrowing 36k. All paperwork discussed and shown to me was for the 36k amount. That means monthly payments and also apr % was understood by both parties. When it came time to sign paperwork Mark, the finance guy, changed the amount borrowed to 48k while still telling us the agreed upon 36k at $600 a month , Mark explained in excruciating detail about gap insurance, which I was already going to get. With so many dealership options, skip Peoria Ford. The sales team engages in particularly high-pressure, dishonest sales tactics (which is saying a lot, as these tactics are to be expected at a car dealership). They will do or say just about anything to get the sale, even if they know it's not what is best for you. Me and my grandmother came into Peoria Ford in June 2024 to try and get me my first car. It was a used Toyota Corolla 2021 with 59k miles. I saw a listing online for it and it was really cheap. 17k. When we came in to see the car, they said it was being serviced to repair the AC (red flag). At this point, I haven't even viewed the car to test drive it and make sure it was okay.
