Hopefully you won't find yourself needing an emergency vet- but if you do I would recommend P.E.T. As would be expected, the wait time was fairly long- but that was no surprise given the type of facility (emergency services). Front area was very comfortable for the wait- also appreciated the kid area to keep them entertained during the wait. My pup ended up needing surgery for a foreign body. She is home recovering now and we even had quite a bit of our deposit refunded as the surgery didn't take as long or cost as much as o... read more

they have been there for me more times than I care to count. They are caring, knowledgeable and friendly people. More than I care to count I have had to depend on them in the middle of the night. they understand sleep deprived pet parents. Their 'end of live' care has come up to a standard that just cannot be beat, from the 'private / comfort room' to the 'cremains' you receive when necessary. thanks as always for the great service.

I had a minor issue with my dog. There were several emergencies before me. The staff at the front desk were just amazing. They kept me aware of the time I would need to wait. They came over and gave my little dog some TLC as well as offered me coffee and water. The vet took her time with us and off we went with a well treated dog.

The front desk staff have been very inviting, warm and friendly. Any tech I have had has been friendly, thoughtful, knowledgable, kind, and patient. Any vet I have had has been understanding, knowledgable, patient, helpful, considerate of cost and feelings, and very aware of what my pets needs were. I had 4 dogs and in the last year have been in that office at least once a month. I have never had a negative experience even when I was given the horrible news that my 12 year old lab wasn't going to make it. This doctor sat w... read more

I took my 14 y/o Weimaraner to pet emergency at 1:00a.m. She was in pain and I was desperate to help her. I was seen within 15 min. Dr. Allison Melocik was so compassionate. She examined my dog and found a large abdominal tumor. She was so thorough in her evaluation. I decided to have the tumor removed at Pet Emergency the next morning. (Despite the age of my dog, she was healthy otherwise). Dr. Clara Vollaro removed a very large tumor (7 lbs) from my dog. I was SO happy with the surgery. She is an EXCELLENT surgeo... read more

Friendly staff. We had to bring in our puppy for a broken knee and he stayed there for a few days up until his surgery day. They took very good care of my pup. The only complaint I have is the wait was long! It wasn't busy at all and we were there for 5-6 hours.

I cannot say enough positive about my experience with Dr. Merrigan and the staff at Pet Er. I came in with a 14 year old Cocker Spaniel that was in critical condition. The receptionist took one look and immediately put other folks on hold to take my dog in to the back for evaluation. I only waited a few minutes for her to return and explain my options. Unfortunately my dog was so far gone I had really one choice. I was, frankly, a mess but the staff took me to a private room, well appointed and comfortable. Dr. Kerrigan came... read more

I have had many visits to this clinic. Several emergency visits and also we saw Dr Love back when my dog had an unknown chronic illness. I am writing this with dazed and sleepless eyes due to a night staying up with my sick pup. She was stung by a bee yesterday morning and boyfriend took her straight to the clinic with a swollen muzzle. They are so kind and thoughtful and just overall nice people. When my pup reacted very badly to the benedryl (though the muzzle swelling did go away!) I made two more visits to them throughou... read more

Unfortunately, I ended up here on 4/2/2015 when I came home from work and found my dog had lost all ability to move his hind limbs.... !!FORTUNATELY!! the staff here is awesome and the vet on staff that evening, Dr Zerkel- was amazing! She took him back right as we walked in to do blood work, xrays, physical exam, etc. We met with Dr Zerkel who explained that it was looking like my not so little dude had herniated a disk in his back which was putting pressure on his spinal cord causing the paralysis. She said with pain mana... read more
