I have had many visits to this clinic. Several emergency visits and also we saw Dr Love back when my dog had an unknown chronic illness. I am writing this with dazed and sleepless eyes due to a night staying up with my sick pup. She was stung by a bee yesterday morning and boyfriend took her straight to the clinic with a swollen muzzle. They are so kind and thoughtful and just overall nice people. When my pup reacted very badly to the benedryl (though the muzzle swelling did go away!) I made two more visits to them throughou... read more

THANK YOU --THANK YOU--THANK YOU Pet Emergency!!! For assisting me with a hurt dog today. I am so gratefull for GREAT vet clinics that care for/ and about animals--your group is TOP NOTCH and truly professionals!!! My story: Today, at 6:40 a.m. on my way to work, I saw a loose dog get hit by a bus and I turned around to help immediately. The dog appeared to have a broken leg. Another good samaritan assisted with getting the dog in my car so I could take him somewhere for care until the owner could be located. Animal... read more

Unfortunately, I ended up here on 4/2/2015 when I came home from work and found my dog had lost all ability to move his hind limbs.... !!FORTUNATELY!! the staff here is awesome and the vet on staff that evening, Dr Zerkel- was amazing! She took him back right as we walked in to do blood work, xrays, physical exam, etc. We met with Dr Zerkel who explained that it was looking like my not so little dude had herniated a disk in his back which was putting pressure on his spinal cord causing the paralysis. She said with pain mana... read more

My husband and I took my dog here after his anal gland burst. It was about 7 in the evening. The wait time was insane. We were there waiting for way longer than fixing him took. Probably 3 hours total. And there were only two other people in the waiting area and their pets were already in the back area. So I'm not sure why they were so late taking care of us. The front desk staff was really nice and helpful upon our arrival and when we left. The vet that saw us explained everything to us and was very thorough with him. I kne... read more

Late night visit with my dog. They were very caring and helpful. They made sure I knew how much everything would cost before they performed any treatment.

I felt like I wasted an evening here. This place has a nicer waiting area than most, complete with a Keurig but boy did I do some waiting. The receptionist was super friendly but the poor girl was on her own out there. Get more staff! I had to wait 20 minutes for an invoice. I thought to myself please let me pay this so I can go homeeeeeeeee. I didn't have any interactions with the vet techs as we simply went for a consult with the Dr. From what I hear everything 5 ages forever here. I appreciated the friendliness of the rec... read more

Had a good experience here. The staff was caring and compassionate with me and as I watched with others also. The vet was attentive and went over results with me gave me a variety of options and helped me make the right decision. I didn't feel pressured to do unnecessary tests or procedures like at other vet clinics I've been to. Had a much better experience here than I did at the diamond clinic in the past. Will definitely return here if I need help after hours.

I brought my 11 month Siberian Husky to a vet in Eagle River after finding him on his side barely breathing. The Vet wasn't able to provide a heart sonogram so they had us rush him over to PET. After doing tests they discovered he had cardiomyopathy and an arrhythmia AND he was in heart failure. They did everything they could - calling to check up on him, they were so kind. Sadly, he passed away a few days later (they said he probably wouldn't make it more than a week)... the quote, they gave us, and we paid, ended up being... read more
