I was here for documentation for my green card, which could not be done at North Western. I found the lady at the desk rather rude, loudly announcing that I didn't have my paperwork in order, even though this was not at all the case. I imagine she thinks her condescending attitude is warranted when their main clientele doesn't have a health insurance? I just don't think anybody deserves to be treated with such a lack of respect. Whatever you do, just go somewhere else. To begin, I had extremely poor experiences with both the doctor and insurance after visiting this office. I went in with a bad cold/sinus infection and was seen by the doctor after 15-20 min (which isn't too bad for a walk-in). When the doctor came in, he was very cold and not personable at all... I'm sitting in a room right now with my 3 year old and it's been 30 minutes since my daughter's vitals were taken. What is the point of making an online appointment if you have to wait 30 minutes after being called back. I would prefer to be told what my wait is looking like and then decided if that works for us, especially since you have to pay for street parking. I've been here at least 5 times and each time the wait after I get called back is longer and longer. I wish the urgent care in Hyde Park was open on weekends.

Not sure what this DR's deal is but...i need to share to save you time and a copay. If you are sick, don't waste your time going to Physicians Immediate Care in the loop (600 W Adams) and I'd assume their other branches. I hardly get sick but now that I am, I needed immediate attention so I stopped in PIC hopeful for an antibiotic and more potent cough syrup than over the counter and just want to say, super disappointed that I was refused antibiotics which knowing my body and response, it's really the only cure for severe c... read more

85 minutes late for my appointment. Told me I was next multiple times and then took patients who came in after me first. This is the second time it has happened and I would not recommend using this location.

I visited urgent care 8 days ago at which time a urine culture was taken and I was told it would be sent to the lab and I would have the results back in 3 or 4 days. meantime the PA (because there were no physicians on staff this day) wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic that she advised I began taking until the results of the culture came back. I was sent here from a job related accident. However the staff was great except for the Doctor which he was polite. But what a can't understand is upon me telling him and him noticing my discomfort I was not offered anything for the pain immediately( I was in a lot of pain with tears rolling down my face). After x-rays where taken and upon diagnosis where given I was handed 2 bottles of different pain meds with instructions. No water was offered to take them. This place should be shut down. I had an IV left in by another provider. This is the closest urgent care facility to me and was told by numerous health care professionals anyone could remove it. Dr. Ramirez said she wouldn't take the needle out because of risk that it might get infected and then they would might liable instead of the provider who left it in by mistake. No one actually cares about the patient here. Just managing risk.

Worst Experience. I went for having a small red bump on my right hand and I had clearly mentioned doctor that I have Crohn's disease so please do not prescribe me any medication that interacts with it. Still they gave me very very very strong antibiotics that made my crohns disease worst. And most important thing is I got that bump cured just by over the counter ointment. Very poor service and I will never never recommend this place. Seems like they have inexperienced doctors.
