I have had problems since this started. did not recieve all the info i needed to have and nobody is sure how their system works and communication in their company is POOR
You lied and enticed me to purchase a system that could not meet the expectations you gave.
On January 12, 2021 , I entered a contract with PowerHome solar to install additional solar panels on my project. i have numerous contacts with several employees of PowerHome about the status of my project. There have been numerous excuses and promises and dates for installation . As of October 7, 2021 I am hoping . Tasha stopped by today. Started pretty good she seemed decent and understanding and seemed to know her solar but…… wen I questioned them about the tax credit and pricing and told them the average price of solar instal in Michigan then it went down from there. I also have had issues with this company since the beginning. They sent many people here on the install day so many that the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. This all began in June 2021 and it is now October 2021 and they just came and connected something called CT'S that were not installed, to begin with. I have no idea if our system will work so I am not giving a review on that, but after reading all the reviews on BBB I also have had the problems others are writing about. Horrible customer service. Once you sign they no longer care.
Biggest regret when it comes to solar. Recommend using someone else. The company oversells on the capability of their work and products. A lot of broken promises, lies and excuses. Would like to add more panels and batteries but not if it involves dealing with PowerHome.
Overall bad experience. Salesman didn't know anything, my concierge was unresponsive, the install crew ran all of the wires on the outside of my house instead of running through the attic. I had to ask them to do it properly. Never in my life have I had to work so hard to give someone so much money.
Having solar on our last house, we wanted it on our new home. Right off the bat the sales person showed up 2 hours early, no phone call, he walked around the house without announcing himself. They seem to be unknowledgeable in building codes had to open a roof vent to measure the distance between the roof trusses, that he broke, told me to buy a new one.
