Installation was not what we expected or what we were told there were multiple things that werent done as contract said we have open holes left in Vinyl siding!We were told windows and doors would be checked for drafts which never happened! Too good to be true? If the sales team lies to you, then you can be sure it's too good to be true. Was told there would be a soft inquiry by their finance ******************** to see if I qualify for their program. I was notified by Experian that Sunlight performed a hard inquiry on my credit.If they can lie about this, what else will they lie about just to make a sale?
I would leave no stars but it won't allow me to leave a comment otherwise. I just want to warn anybody that is considering solar panel installation to a kid this company. This was the worst decision I have ever made in my life. It took almost six months to get the system up and running. System is not even four years old and has broken down and has been offline for months. Still waiting on parts. Meanwhile, I am paying a loan for nothing. This company is a joke, all lies. Salesman will tell you one thing and customer service will tell you another thing. Took 3 months to get my system installed and never did work properly, finally got it working nine months later and the company gave me a $100 refund, (still waiting for it).
This company is a bunch of con artists. They will give you the corporate run around every time. We originally got everything in order back around Nov 2020. All they did was drop off a box of stuff and never started our panels. They then sent a $3k **** for a box of bulbs, 2 surge protectors, and a heater blanket for the water heater. I refused to pay that given they breached the contract. So far the whole experience has been a nightmare. My panels haven't worked right since day one. I wait to get a tech out to work on them and that takes like a month. ( I only get excuses and passed around in customer service.) Then the panels work for a few days and then they go back to partially production. I have been waiting on a tech now since Sept. Part of the wait was due to the person I was dealing with dropped the ball. I have been contacting PHS off and on since the installment. My next appointment is for Dec. 20th.... read more
misleading customers with no intent to fix or may it right. Sales pitch to may you believe you will be off the grid and will supply you with the solar you need to do so. three to four months later, they install. for me the installation went well. After the first power **** came in, there was no advantage of having the panels. Call them and they made an adjustment, did change some readings to the kwh but not quiet half my power ****. Good company, however bad communication when trying to ask question.I have tried to reach out to them for the past month and some change. Ive had some concerns/questions. I get the friendly person who picks up the phone and the 2nd stage of contact wont respond let alone message/call me back in a reasonable amount of time let alone at all.Ill call them 1st thing in the morning 08-1000 time frame, and wont get a response till 3:30 4pm, and by then when It is too late when I try to call them back..And I have to start all over ... read more
