These guys are terrible. No one calls you back. You have to throw a fit. I have have emailed one guy all my bills for the last year with no word back from him. On June 2, 2021, we entered into a contract with this company to install solar panels. As of October 29, 2021, we are still waiting for completion of this project. We have been overly patient with the delays, setbacks, excuses and problems. We are starting to wish we had never invest our money and time. We are at our wit's end, and looking to BBB for suggestions and guidance in resolving this matter.
This company keeps calling me, I have no idea how they have my number. When I answer they hang up! I call and ask to be removed and block the number but the calls come from different numbers each time. This makes 3x today.
I like the solar system in all , BUT ! High pressure sales tactics . A complete roof job done and six hours. And drip edge dented up and nails coming through. Sofit and flashing Improper.Ridge vent looks like a snake. And they got silicone all over the place. They cut a flashing and silicone around it to put around my electrical go onto my roof. Over Charged. Learn from my mistake. Get several quotes. What should have only been 40k at MOST will cost us over 90k. We are not saving a dime. Now we have a $320 bill a month that we pay in case the power goes out. We were told we would never be without power, another lie. It only covers 4 circuits. 1 circuit per battery. Another lie is that the power bill will drop because the meter will be "tricked". That works if your power company uses net metering. We use Bi- directional metering. So it doesn't work the same. I think Powerhome Solar should be put out of business, this is a shady business. They mislead their customers. We started our installation in June and our system still isn’t complete. Whenever we call, we get the runaround!!! The breaker box wasn’t installed properly which could have caused a fire. Now, we’re paying a regular power bill , plus a monthly bill for installation that is not completed. will not return calls, incomplete installation and get the run-around when calling them
By far the worst company I've dealt with. Starting with the sales rep selling us a pack of lies! Then the lack of communication and resolve from our numerous "concierges". The installers left a mess when they were done. I still have expensive power bills. My only piece of mind is having generac battery backup. Powerhome came out today to fix all the things that weren't working when the power went out. Hopefully it's fixed but I'm not confident. I give zero stars!
