Company is impossible to deal with. Install team left without getting everything working. Then two service appointments go by without anyone coming to fix anything. Calling is a nightmare as you have to wait on hold for 2+ hours and their callback system doesn't work.

This has been a nightmare. After solar panels were installed, we have had nothing but trouble. Power home solar (at that time) had to come out 5 times. first snaps were bad then panels were bad they both were replaced. then again called and complained again 4 more times after they tell you they will be there and then they reschedule you have to wait another month. We have also had problems with their financial institution, not getting a correct amount to pay. they didn't apply the amount we had to pay down on the system. Now... read more

It's really unfortunate that I have to write this negative review. When we started our journey to solar it was with "PowerHome Solar" which did a great job installing our system. We are happy with the system and all of the perks that "going solar" has to offer. Unfortunately, at the tail end of our experience, PowerHome Solar was purchased by Pink Energy and that is when everything went downhill. In October 2021 I ordered a Solar System for my house. I was told at that time that the system would be up and running no later than the end of December. The sales person stated that I had to have a battery backup Due to Tennessee state law. Which is not True.After after 9 months of trying to get the system up and running, I have experienced the worst customer service possible. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD! I'VE HAD 18 SOLAR PANELS PUT ON MY HOUSE IN MAY 2021! I HAVE BEEN PAYING SUNLIGHT $208.00 A MONTH SINCE JUNE 2021 AND PAYING DUKE ENERGY $350.00 SOMETINES UP TO $398.00! MY DUKE HAS BEEN IN DISCONNECT 2 TIMES SINCE I HAVE HAD THE PANELS! Do Not fall for the lies. My system is nonfunctional and has been since ********** to request service, and you spend all day on hold. Try to join the queue by having someone call you back - no return call. If you get through to a person, it will be 3 months before they can provide service. Doesnt matter that its the same problem for the third time in less than one year. Doesnt matter that you are paying your loan AND your electric ****. I have never seen anything like it. Here I go again! I had my panels (14) and generator installed 8/17/20. May/2022 lost citywide power. Generator didnt kick on. Immediately I tried calling after the third day I tried again. A time was scheduled for the to come out because it was stated that they can see the problem. No show, no call..Again calling around seven times to no avail.iSSUES: I Paid $49,728.66 for a system that doesnt work..Customer Service doesnt exist there.
