Was not impressed with the installation crew.they did clean up after their self. They weren't going to add insulation to my attic until I asked, and had to ask for the box of light bulbs and nest thermostat and never recieved the hot water heater blanket. The system was not wired correctly. It took 5 months before everything was working correctly. The nest thermostat they provide is not comparable with a heat pump system with heat strip. And they are not willing to replace with one that is.

By far the biggest scamming con artist company i have ever seen or herd of delt with in my entire 40yrs of life. They wont last long they have groups **** strong on ******** of people they have scammed over put in bankruptcy out of millions and millions of dollars. Me and my wife was told we had to have batteries in il to get solar in IL it was new IL LAW. That was a $20,000 straight out FRUAD lie. When salesperson came to offer solar, he said with solar panels you pay $189.00 a month to solar for 30 years and only $12.00 a month to electric company. I'm still paying about $150.00 a month to electric company and soon I have to pay $246.00 to solar according to notice received from goodleap (powerhome solar finance)

Update: they ultimately let me out of the contract after I threatened litigation. Know your rights. After reading many reviews, I feel this company wants to get you installed so they can get paid by the bank regardless of whether or not you have a functioning system or not. Multiple reviews from people stating that after sale and install they were left for months with a malfunctioning Solar System yet cannot get someone on the phone much less someone to come out and fix the problem. We have not had working solar panels for 5 months.We noticed 3 lights on our Generex box and called Powerhome ***************** An appt was set for January 3, January 8, February 5 and March 5 to have a techniciancome look at our system. Each has been canceled.January 3 - Snow day even tho there was less than 1/2 inch. Any snow was gone by noon.January 8 - Technician had covid. Misleading sales tactics. After almost a year of ownership I would go back and tel everyone to s*** the door on anyone associated with this company. They have put me on hold promised calls back for weeks now, all to no avail as they study why my system isnt producing as promised. Then, I start running some numbers all to find out that they didnt even sell me a system that could actually reduce my electric **** to what the salesman said. WHY LIE?! $$$$$$$$$

For the expense I was disappointed at how industrial the final installation appeared. I now have multiple lines of conduit running outside the house. The team lead indicated that this was all he was capable of doing. They arrived at the house with the original version of the installation plan, not the final as I approved it. This delayed the installation process for a few hours. In fairness all the people have been good at listening and they may yet work to improve the situation, but that remains to be seen.

Back in 2020 we signed up for the Solar power. We have have had the solar for 2 years and our system is still not working right. Our solar loan has gone up almost $100.00; due to not having tax credit money that we where supposed to apply to loan. We are also still paying a high electric ****; as the Solar panels are not working correctly. They do not call you back as they say they will. Selling pitch is so good and well thought out. Promises are up front but dont exist. **************** is a ghost town. They are there for you until you sign the contract and installation is complete. After installation they are hard to get in touch with and lead you on. You call their number and choose the prompt for service and youre on the phone for hours trying to get someone to answer. I did Call one day and chose the prompt for a new customer, I had a sales representative on the phone within a minute. Imagine that!!!! O... read more
