This is the worst company I have every dealt with in my entire life. We signed up with PowerHome over a year ago and STILL do not have solar power. When the crews came out to install the panels (10 months ago) their workmanship was terrible. I had a list of install deficiencies where they had tore up siding, shingles, drywall etc. on our home. You guys promote yourselves like you will save your customers money. Then why did you scam me? What did I do to you to make you want to hurt me and my family like this financially? I am in constant repentance for the horrible decision that I made to purchase this disastrous non-functioning system. This solar company will tell you sooo many good things about their services. Like you will be grid independent and that your power **** will be low to a point where you won't even have to pay anymore.It all a lie. in fact my bills has become higher. Unfortunately they over promise and under deliver. We contracted to have solar with Power Home with a generac battery and to date our Power **** has gone up and not down. The Gererac ** link problem has consistently been an issue and Power Home blames Generac and vice versa. Every month I've had PH I've had to call them out to fix an issue with the ** link. Hopefully they will get it fixed when they come out this month. So my advice is get solar from anyone but Power Home.
I would not recommend this company. Faulty equipment. The electrians they use ,wired up the wrong items listed for the battery back up. I heat with a Central boiler woodstove and I made it clear to the sales rep that I wanted everything in the electrical panel that is marked with a red X to be connected to the battery backup. My install was on 1/23/22, 3 days later they had to return to do the grounds and get the system on the grid. Luraine I became interested for sometime now, in using Solar panel to power my home,,so I spoke to a representative from PowerHome Solar.. the presentation led me to believe this was what I was looking for so I decided purchased this system last year 2021..it turns out to be a nightmare.. first of all the crew they sent to install the panel were TOTALLY unprofessional,, had no regular for my home/property..there were smoking and left cigarette butts all over my yard.. not to mention installing the battery and other electrica... read more

My system was installed over a year-and-a-half ago. It still has not worked correctly sense. The find out it took him eight months to figure out they installed the system incorrectly. Since then they still were not able to get the system up and functioning. They will not help with the issue and customer service is a joke. I would stay away from this company at all
