The beginning of last year we inquired information about Power Home Solar. A salesman named **** came to our home and explained the perks of the solar panels. We were told that if we purchased 18 solar panels for the size of a rambler style home it would provide us with the right amount of solar to power our home with a back up battery pack for when the lights go out. This is a horrible company. Got ours installed Nov. 2021 they said you get $2000 sign on and first year free with $14000 back on your taxes. They don't tell you the first year is only free if you give them the $2000 sign up money and the $14000 is a tax credit you don't get it back to put towards your **** and lower the monthly payments like they say. If you have a representative from Powerhome Solar contact you about solar panels: RUN. This company is the worst in the business. Had solar panels installed in 2020 and they haven't worked for one minute. Despite so called techs coming out multiple times and "fixing" the issue nothing ever worked. Now we're left with panels that are useless and a roof which has been damaged. We are suing this company now after waiting too long to have the problems even acknowledged. Do not do business with them. Under no circumstances.
We had our system put in place in August of 2021. It is February of 2020 and the system has not produced any of the savings, production pf solar power or even have the ability provide any back-up power. Although we have been working with several representatives within the organization, they do not have the authority to authorize any repairs other than sending out technicians. This company lies to their customers about the referral bonus. I had a friend that I referred and was supposed to get a $1000.00 referral bonus when they installed solar panels. They had panels installed in August I still have not received my bonus and when I call the company they give me the run around and say they will look into it and you never hear from them.

I purchased this system last year, was told that it would reduce my electric **** and also give me a backup battery for those emergencies when power went out. The system cost ***** dollars and is a eye sore on my house! I have called numerous times that it wasnt working properly. At first I was told it took a year for them to have enough data to analyze, them I was told the battery didnt charge below 41 degrees. I would like this removed from my home and a refund! the equipment and products are awesome if installed and working properly I could see this thing being great. **************** and distro install teams has to be the deal breaker here.There is no follow-up, after installation and every question you may have is answered with someone will call you. I had a **************************** July of 2019. The install process was lengthy and I was paying for a system for 2 months before it was functional. After 1 year in service, I ran the numbers from my power company and we were only seeing a power offset of ****%. in our contract we were sold a 50% power offset by the solar system. After the initial high pressure sales call, I did put them off for a few weeks in order to negotiate some slightly better pricing. I them waited about 3 months to get the systems installed. I have lost count with how many service calls and phone calls i have had to have in the past 2 years since. I paid for 2 systems to be installed, and they sent 2 crews on the same day.
