Our heater has been broken for two months. We've had SIX service calls to address the issue but every time someone comes out they have to send proof of the issue which means another service call later. We wait on hold for HOURS every time we call only to go without a resolution to our issue. moved out in 3/2021, they kept my security deposit, even though the home was rented right after I left, claiming I did not give them the required 60 days notice through the portal. In addition to that, In 5/2021 they sent me my move out letter stating I owed them an additional 1, 800.00, which Ive been disputing ever since. I agree with all of the one stars. We moved into a house managed by Pathlight and nothing has been done to correct anything into the house. We've been here 2 weeks tomorrow and nothing. I gave one star because, now we know we are no way buying a house they managed.
I have never in my life experienced such incompetence, negligence, and absurdity. If I could leave negative stars for this property management company, I would. Whomever is in charge over there should be completely and utterly shamed. My dishwasher broke almost two months ago. My backyard gate broke almost three months ago. This company I believe to be very shady. They nickel and dime you with unnecessary fees and charges. Plumbing issues on property were addressed multiple times. Repair people were sent out and apparently never fixed the issue. Toilet had been apparently losing water for several months. Tenants finally heard the toilet running and notified company. Worst Rental Property Mgmt. company ever encountered. We rented from them a little over a year ago, we were not permitted to go in to the property due to the previous tenant still living here, not true, they had moved out weeks before. Property was never inspected or cleaned, we had already signed lease, needed to move in quickly. The list of problems with this $ 40.000 house per year is endless. I have been dealing with Pathlight Management Property for the last 2.5 months trying to resolve my move out. We had a signed agreement from both parties that would vacate the property on the 30 Nov 2021. We went out of town to see our son graduate from Navy bootcamp in the middle of November and the property management office put an abandonment notice on our door. This is an unethical and incompetent company. We have been without an oven and a microwave for over 3 months now. They have canceled the work orders and reopened several times. You cannot get anyone to call you or return a call. I have been on the phone for more than 20 hours only for them to hang up or completely lie about the status. It really is an horrifying experience. Legal is the only way to go with this company.
If you can, STAY AWAY from this company! We have paid everything on time every time and have had them not do maintenance properly, pay the utilities that are in our contract for them to pay (and it has been disconnected), and it takes FOREVER to get anything resolved or get answers from them even upon move in! We pay mandatory fees for trash, a $10 convenience billing fee per month, and a $15 per month fee for filters to be delivered to our home! These are non negotiable.
