Horrible company to deal with, not a very professional company. Currently seeking counsel sue this company
Update 9/2021: There have been multiple times when the "contractor" you send will not do the work because you don't pay them enough. For an unlicensed contractor to crap on your company like that is laughable. Pathlight is a slum lord, plain and simple. Exterior doors falling off rotten frames, trees over 10 feet tall that need to be trimmed, bad plumbing, broken dishwasher and HOA violations out the yin yang are all still pending with SMS but nothing is getting done. This is the WORST property management company I have ever dealt with. We have had numerous problems with our rental and the company is very difficult to get in touch with and very slow to resolve problems. When you think you have resolved a problem, it happens again. I agree with all the negative reviews below and many of the same things have happened to us. Don't do it, do not do business with Pathlight, everything is fine till something happens and repairs needed, dishwasher electrical fire, 6 weeks to even respond, well pump goes out and no water...2 weeks to send someone to even look at it. Qualified vendors don't like them because they are slow payers...waiting till the last day, they rather work for someone else. We were forced to deal with this horrible management company via the landlord Home Partners of America when we got this house. Now it is even worst. Pathlight acquired HPA and we are stock with them! We went without refrigerator for TWO WEEKS! After A WEEK, they sent an appliance company to tell us it was broken. Then it took another week to replace it with a new one which has the wrong measurements and wont fit right in the space!!! WTH! Absolutely worst real estate management company. Simply do not know how you remain in business. You leased me a property in bad faith, fully knowing there was a rodent infestation and your refusal to speak to me, solve my problem, is quite ridiculous. There is a list of problems from the onset yet your ability to simply ignore and put us on eternal hold is quite frustrating. You leave me no choice but to complain on this platform as I have sent you an email daily asking to speak to someone in management....
Had to do everything on my own to move into the property. Paid for the occupancy permit because they told me it was requested only to find out that was not true ($75). My home kept failing the occupancy permit inspection because of electrical issues. I finally got fed up and called a licensed electrician to fix the electrical problems so I can move in. That cost me $500. I'm hoping they give me a credit a move in to compensate me for the total amount of $575 that I've spent so far. Can someone tell me if they think I will be... read more
This company manages a rental house in the neighborhood and the lawn has not been mowed for 5 weeks. It is awful looking and calling and emailing them is no help. There is no leadership or empowerment to get this problem fixed. It must be agents in a cube somewhere that are not empowered to do anything. They said they would call me back in 24-48 hours that was 5 days ago and still have not heard from them. AWFUL customer service and no attention to detail.
