Air conditioner broke - refused to replace despite extreme heat conditions. Maintenance team could not escalate after over 2 weeks of having an open ticket. Local office would not listen to concerns and would only transfer to maintenance team. When I finally got a hold of a supervisor, I asked if they would reimburse the cost of a hotel room and I was hung up on with no call back. Terrible company!
Don't waste your money!! They are crooks that leave listings on the market for extended periods of time enabling them to charge prospective renters application fees only to email you that they have a qualified applicant already with a waiting list AFTER they get your money. Pure SCUM who should be ashamed of themselves, but then again, they are SKUM....
This is the worst experience I've every had with a property management company. We leased the property 6 weeks in advance and scheduled time to look at the property after the tenants were supposed to move. We showed up to the tenants still being at the property and the company had no idea they were there. This was 10 days prior to my move in date. I was attempting to help a friend move but couldn't unload anything due to the house being beyond disgusting. The cat piss carpet hadn't been replaced, construction being started in the master bath, wasp nests all over, not cleaned at all. This company took their money and now won't return a call all day. They can't move in under these conditions and Path light isn't offering any solutions. I guess legal channels are the only solution with slum lords such as this company.
I expressed interest in a property they managed that I had seen online. I applied, paid application fee and they immediately pressured me into signing lease. They only gave me 2 days to review lease and I still had not seen inside of home. Their lease is long and difficult to read and contains many unacceptable clauses. I am sure most people sign without fully understanding it. WORST DECISION- this company is like a shell-company. They get you to sign and then they have a call center with no ability to directly manage issues or escalate concerns. History of using prior tenant as scape goat for all concerns- and then forward the cost of repair on to next tenant. They will give you the run around for months- pretty sure they don't allow my phone calls to connect. Every email complaint is closed and rolled to another "concern" which is then promptly closed. This has got to be the WORST company EVER! They don't take care of the homes, inside or out, and are non responsive to request for service ( heater, air conditioning, broken indoor entry light not fixed, merely taken out and never replaced). Neighbors annoyed with the lack of lawn care, a broken down fence and a number of other issues. Stay away from these people.
I moved into a Pathlight Property February 2021 and from the beginning I have had issues receiving response from their management team. The rental property is located in Landover, MD but the management company is located in Plano, TX. They assured me that a representative from my state would be the point of contact regarding any issues, I have yet to receive the persons name or contact information. Worst management company to ever exist. For over 2 years we have reported roof leaks, resulting in mold, and they have done nothing but have shady contractors put new shingles over the leak. They have been told by numerous reputable roofing companies that the roof needs to be replaced. Last week the ceiling in our master bedroom had a large hole develop because of the water. Again they sent a crappy roofer out to put a shingle on it. Guess what....I still leaks. We will be terminating our lease as soon as we find a new place... read more
