No one lived in our home for 9 months. We moved in and house was filthy after we were promised it would be cleaned. Over half the light bulbs were burnt out and never replaced. Heater was broken. Roof has been leaking for 2 months. Sent 2 roofers out and its still leaking. These people don't care about you or the property its only about getting your money. Now they want me to trim trees that have been over grown for almost a year.
I just moved in to a home managed by Pathlight and it's been awful from the start. The yard was a disaster (grass 3ft high) and there were coackroaches. They sent someone to handle the roaches but it took over a week. Then they also sent someone for the yard but that took even longer, AND the guy who did it basically just weedwhacked the grass and LEFT - he did not even take the grass with him, resulting in a giant mess, way worse than just having tall grass. My daughter and her boyfriend rented a home from the bank that Pathlight represents in March of 2020. From day one they had nothing but problems. Her boyfriend was in the military and stationed in Philadelphia due to riots caused by the unnecessary death of George Floyd so she was left to handle the issues on her own. First issue was when they moved in the basement had flooded previously and was not finished being cleaned up. It was atrocious. Believe all of the other reviews, and they have allowed our next door neighbor to harass us for the past two and a half years and have done NOTHING to protect us! The guy is mentally unstable and dangerous, and all pleas to Pathlight for help have gone ignored. They actually have it in your lease that they aren't responsible for the safety of their tenants! I applied for one of their rental properties after speaking to someone and paid the application fee. I then received a letter stating that my application was denied, so I called ****** Inc. whose contact information was in the letter and was informed by ****** Inc that they have nothing to do with approving or declining applications. ****** stated that the company I submitted the application to (Pathlight) makes that decision and that I need to contact them. If I could leave 0 stars I would, but that isn't an option. Overall I would say to take your money and run far far away. Starting out with move in day, our home was disgusting, if they paid someone to do it, they should get a refund. They put a lock box on with our keys inside and never came back for it. Our fridge, dishwasher, some outlets, and our irrigation system have not worked since move in day, and once we put in the work request we were notified that it was resolved. Just a money grab company. Either they immediately respond with there is a fully approved application or no response at all. They do not respond when called out for accepting your fees without even looking at your application.
DO NOT get involved with this company. It is a scam - they take your application fee, "approve" you then very high pressure to sign the lease and wire money before you have even seen the property. When I looked at the outside of the house it is a completely different home than what this listing showed. I am going to do a charge back for my application fee and report the local Realtor representing them.
Dastardly, deluded, deviant and deceptive. These are just a few of the words that describe this company. They left myself and my family without air conditioning for 2 months in the summer time while still insisting that I pay full rent. the property has had numerous repair problems and each time, it has been a arduous process to get the property management to commit to fixing these issues. recently, as of this week, the company has sued me to court in a bid to evict me from the property even though i am up to date on my rent... read more
