Check your product carefully The pump came in on time. Outside cartoning showed no damage, but the cover for the cylinoid was significantly damaged. I was able to use the old cover from my current pump. Aggravating because one expects to get undamaged product. New pump is working fine.
UGGGGHHHHH Product is defective and return window too short between receiving them having someone come and install it. My original Polaris lasted me 16 years this one nobody could get working for over a month so I had to order yet another one. I installed the new one myself. So far a few days working like a charm and motor purrs like a kitten. My problem is I am now stuck with a defective unit at the price point f $265.00. How do I get amazon to take this back and reimburse the cost of the first one

Does not last...only 14 months Lived in this house with pool for 30 years this month and other Polaris pumps lasted 8-10+years. This one only lasted 14 months.

Pump failed in 2 years Will get a Dolphin 🐬 pool cleaner next time. Much less problems than our Polaris. Pump purchased in May 2016 has failed?

PB4-60 came. I installed. Never ran only hummed ... PB4-60 came. I installed. Never ran only hummed. Was not the capacitor. I tried 3. the supplier screwed around until 30 days was up looking into it. They would not take it back. Tossed in trash. Got a Hayward Booster pump it started right up. you can barely hear it run.

Problems I had the original pump that came with our house (same brand that worked at least 12 years) replaced in 2016 by a local pool company (>$500). It went out 5 days after the warranty expired in 2017. The pool company said that the work would not be covered under warranty and that I would have to pay full price for repair or replacement. Rubbish product and/or seller!!! The pump blew up within the first 3 weeks. Though my understanding is that it will be replaced (hopefully), the warranty people said the pump itself must have been sitting in a warehouse a long time as the warranty period had expired.

DIY Homeowners Beware I installed this motor/pump assembly in August 2017. It ran fine until just a few days ago. I called Zodiac and because I installed the motor myself, and I’m not a licensed electrician, my warranty is voided. Regardless that the motor ran for 10 months, I have no warranty. So, homeowners who DIY, buyer beware.

( Very disappointed. My previous Polaris pool pump lasted over 10 ... I bought this pump 3 years ago and the front bearing of the motor is screaming loud! I took the motor apart. There is no way to replace the front bearing with a puller so it's a throw away. :( Very disappointed. My previous Polaris pool pump lasted over 10 years!!!!
