Won't last ... Inferior product. Installed 2 pumps and both completely stopped turning after 1 year of usage. This is common with many other purchasers. Try a different brand as this booster pump is problematic.
WORTHLESS EQUIPMENT and BAD BUSINESS This pump lasted 40 days!!!! If someone can tell me where in the "limited warranty" information it states that a CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN must install in order for the defective equipment to be covered under the limited warranty. Our last booster pump lasted well over 5 years which we also installed!!!!
Pump died after 6 months Same issue as some of the reviews. Pump worked fine for 6 months. contacted Zodiac. send me to an authorized pool company. only to be told I needed a certified electrician to install it or warranty was not good. this pump comes with quick connects so you can do it yourself. starts humming and then shutdown.
Piece of garbage The pump leaked a tiny bit after installation. After one week it drained half of the pool. I returned and the seller took 50% off the price because it was “used”. Hello..... Don’t buy anything from this seller. The pump’s head is made of cheap plastic I wonder if it cracked under pressure. I would trust anything produced by this company. It looks very amateurish. Did they ever test the stuff they sell. I wasted hours dealing with these idiots
Item never worked but seller refunded purchase amount once item was returned I installed this item. It's quite frankly easier than a garbage disposal which makes me really question the need to have a professional install it. Literally took me 15 minutes start to finish. I replaced the old motor with the exact same motor, so wiring was a snap. Heck, I even shut off the main breaker to the house out of an abundance of caution when I hooked it up. Arrived broken TWICE. We never had a chance to see if the products works. Because it arrived broken TWICE IN A RAW.

Buyers beware Out of the box it shuts off every 5 minutes or so. Like so many others have commented the only thing worse than the motor is the lack of complying with any sort of warranty. Buy at your own risk reportedly Zodiac’s new policy is they won’t warranty any internet purchases even though the warranty included mentions nothing of the sort.
