Warranty Beware Bought this as a booster for my Polaris. Installed myself. Easy install. Quit working after 5 months. Contacted Zodiac about the 1 year mfg warranty. Zodiac informed me this pump wasn't covered under the warranty since it was not installed by a "licensed" professional. I asked them what a licensed pool pump installer was actually. I have only had this product since August 11, ... I have only had this product since August 11, 2016. The product came with the threads messed up where the weather bushing attaches for the electrical wires. Luckily my neighbor had a set of drill taps to make the threads workable. Now I am outside of my return or replace window and the product makes a loud clanking noise. Very unsatisfied with product quality

but I made do and it worked fine. If I had realized the outlet could not be repositioned by a swevil clamp, I would have purchased different pump, but I made do and it worked fine.

intermittent running pump the pump I received was bad out of the box. It ran intermittently. I contacted the manufacturer and received a new one, which was good. I'm somewhat satisfied.
3 month life is unacceptable, look elsewhere Purchased June 7, 2016, installed June 19th. Pump failed on September 25, 2016. 3 month service life is unacceptable. Motor reads open leads with voltmeter. Please save yourself time, effort and money and purchase something of higher quality.

Wow it's so quite, it's like it is not running...because it isn't Ordered. Had it installed. I thought Wow it's so quite, it's like it is not running...well it was ecause it wasn't. I really wanted this to work, but it didn't.

Replaced a 15 year old Polaris booster pump and the ... Replaced a 15 year old Polaris booster pump and the Polaris sweep at the same time, the installation was simple and the pump is performing as it should.
Amazon has been great in trying to help I'm on my third pump. The first two had to go back because they didn't run. Amazon has been great in trying to help, but if I had it all to do over again I would buy another brand of pump that would work. The one that came with my system was a L. C. Smith and it lasted 12 years. I can't get the Zodiac to last 12 hours.
