Buyer beware Pump didn’t work on arrival. Had broken endcap, This is a 32lb motor and Amazon used a single bit of paper to pack it. Replacement pump ran for a few seconds before quitting. No support from store or manufacturer. Didn’t return emails, messages or voice calls. Support phone line says to call during business hours - but call was at 2 pm. Warranty is voided if self-install. Finally got tech support on the phone just to tell me that warranty is voided because I don’t have an electrician license. Also could not help... read more

I had the new one installed and it worked fine but was much louder then the Polaris pump Bought this pump in the summer of 2016 after my Polaris pump stop working after 8 years. The first pump I received had a defect so I had to returnit with no problem. I had the new one installed and it worked fine but was much louder then the Polaris pump. Never last more than a year and a half Have been through 4 of these in six years, not one has lasted more than a year and a half. Stay away from these!

DO NOT buy pool equipment on Amazon After two months the pump was playing up. Amazon washed their hands of any responsibility and i had to call manufacturer direct. They directed me to a local pool company to come out and check. The local pool company charged me call out fee of 125 dollars and said they could not find anything wrong. DO NOT buy pool equipment in Amazon the savings are really not worth the hassle if something goes wrong.
It ran beautifully for to weeks and the motor burned out Bought this product and had it professionally installed. It ran beautifully for to weeks and the motor burned out. Had the motor replaced. It ran for four days and the impeller broke. Waiting for a new impeller to be installed. At this point the only thing that is original product I purchased is the housing.

Unacceptable service life! When it works it works well. The Polaris 380 is great. Sorry to say this is my third pump in 10 years. The motor failed both times. Hopefully I will have a better experience with #3.
DO NOT INVEST IN THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT IT TO LAST AND WORK CORRECTLY OVER THE ONE YR....you will be disappointed This booster pump never seem to work correctly to clean my pool with my polaris cleaner. The pump gave out just over the one yr warranity. Now need to buy another one. Will NOT be buying this brand again!

Not a quality pump. Had the pump since September 2015. It is now March 2018 and it is dead. Died an ugly sparking death. Not pleased at all.
