Lasted less than 6 months. I purchased this new pump/motor on January 17th, 2015 from Zodiac. The motor froze on June 29th, 2015, less than 6 months later. I need to get a replacement motor and pump now.

    Business response:

Zodiac Pool Systems says: Hi Bud, We are very sorry to see that your PB4-60 booster pump experienced some issues. That isn't something that we take lightly, and we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about it. Can you contact me directly at polarispool1@gmail.com with your contact information? Thank you, Julie Polaris

Working good! Booster pump was delivered to me yesterday and I just installed it today. Local pool company estimated installation as $150 so I decided to do it by myself. I'm not a big tech guy, just with small repair experience but I was able to do it. It took me about 3 hours to do entire installation. Way more than 1 hour - what average ppl are writing. But mostly it's because I had problems with un-wiring and disassembling old booster pump. Everything was really rusty and stuck plus I don't have good tools to use. Once I... read more

Super quiet After I installed the pump, which took about an hour, and turned it on, I thought it was a dud because I didn't hear anything. Then I turned around and saw the pool sweeper flying around the pool floor. I can't believe how quiet this pump is. I should have replaced my old one sooner.

BURNED... Polaris/Zodiac Booster Pump Lasted ONE WEEK! Well... the booster pump lasted about a week! Curiously, the pump began stopping for no reason sometime during it's programmed cycle. This happened about 3 times... but it always restarted when manually switched back on. But... yesterday I noticed it had stopped again... and this time... it would not run at all. BRAND NEW. ONE WEEK OLD. Toast. From what I've read in the reviews... it's going to be a long tough road to get Zodiac/Polaris to honor its warranty.
