This pump was defective. After installing- it had leaks ... This pump was defective. After installing- it had leaks from multiple areas. Turns out that it had missing O-rings and a broken impeller.
Very disappointed Ordered on 30 Dec 2015, arrived 2 Jan, installed today, 3 Jan. So noisy I'm going to take it back out and return to Amazon tomorrow. I'm glad I saved the box. My 24 year old pump's motor failed so I thought I'd just replace the whole thing since a new motor and a set of seals cost almost as much as this new pump. Shame on you, Zodiac/Polaris.

Poor Workmanship! What an experience to say the least! I installed the pump, turned on the main pool pump to make sure I had water flow through the new booster pump. As soon as I turn on the booster pump water started to spray out between the motor and pump. The pump sounded like it was frozen. I contacted Polaris / Zodiac who gave me a service number and requested that I contact one of their local service providers. That was worthless! Very Disatisfied I ordered this pump to replace one that stopped working. Installed it ourself. It would run 30 minutes, then quit. Was very noisy and overheating. Finally got SaveMoreOnPools to agree to replace it. 2nd pump was installed by electrician. This one would run 3 minutes, then cut out. Called my pool company to evaluate the pump and replace it with one from them if they could not get it working properly. Conclusion is pool company determined the 2nd pump was also defective. Pump stopped working Bought the pump mid May 2015 and it stopped working yesterday, Sept 7, 2015. I tried to return/replace it but Amazon wouldn't. NOT Happy.My first pump lasted 8 years.

will i get on answer? i order thepb4 60 booster pump . but no one mention mention the electric connection for 210 volts or 110 volts to make sure how to indentify the proper connecting lug on motor for 210 or 110 volts.

Worked great for 3 days Worked great for 3 days. I let it run over night once and the next morning the pump was making a terrible noise and the discharge was way less than it should have been.

Cracked and leaking the first time it is used This item is cracked/broken and leaking at the connection point the first time that I have turned it on to use it. I have to find out how to get it replaced from Amazon but so far I am having no luck.
