Advertised 1/2 price Wine and App Special 4:30-6:30 PM every THURSDAY/FRIDAY in April. Made reservation for this past Friday, April 26 at 5:15 pm. When we got there we were told that the 1/2 price that was advertised would not be available because it was Loverboy Concert night. In no place was this communicated on their website. I like that they had someone there playing music but had him in the wrong spot. It was very loud and at first they wanted to seat us right in front of where he was playing. We went to have a meal where we could talk to each other but that would not have been able to happen sitting right there. It was even hard to hear each other farther away. I very disapointed The food choices vs the food Value was poor This is suppose to be an exclusive high end establishment but wasn't any better than the Farmers Market Buffet The beef tenderloin was extremely rare when asked if there was any that was cooked more was told "no that's the way it comes" we asked if it could be cooked more was told "no" not very good customer service
Over half of the food was underwhelming. The baked potato had definitely seemed like it was cooked in the microwave as well as the chicken dish. For the $230 spent, I would have figured on a much better experience and quality of food. For our waitress was amazing, but the hostess seemed overwhelmed with only 8 patrons in the area. Very Disappointed to say the least.
Unfortunately, very disappointing. We attended Portico with some friends on my recommendation to eat there as opposed to an outside restaurant and play at the casino. My wife and I have eaten at Portico several times and really enjoyed the staff, the food, the drink list and overall experience which is why I recommended it to our guests . Service was not good. When we sat down we were asked if we wanted water by the hostess and requested Pellegrino and regular water. We recieved neither. We asked 2 more times and didn't recieve. Finally grabbed a person delivering some appetizers to get us sparkling and it was delivered. The food was good when we recieved it. We each had filet. We have visited Portico's several times and have enjoyed the food and the service. However on this occasion we had invited another couple and experienced the exact opposite. The service was extremely slow and there was a twenty minute delay between the salads and the entrees. We all had ordered steaks of different cuts and cooking instructions. Not until we can be out of there before 2hours. We waited at least half hour before they cleaned the table after we had our appetizers waited one hour for our main course that is unacceptable in our eyes. We used to love portico but now it turns people off.
Worst hostess I’ve ever seen. Took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine because they had no glasses. Ridiculous
