I want to inform other prospective tenants to hold Progress Residential to the lease amount listed on their web site. When I began looking into rental properties in Indianapolis, IN. I found the home I wanted to rent under a PMI leasing agency. The home was listed for $1500.00 a month. When I went to sign the lease agreement, I was told the property was now being managed by Progress Residential and the cost of the lease was increased to $1,695.00, a month. I had looked at multiple places and was very specific on the timeline for my move date, I was hurried into filling out an application and deposit and did a video walkthrough of the rental which showed a list of areas in need of repair. Our worst rental experience ever. They are rude, incompetent and we believe, unscrupulous!!! They post your rent amount on the website the first of each month and it must be paid by the 3rd. There is no grace period!! They do everything to prevent you paying your monthly lease payment on time so that you incur late fees, attorney fees and taxes. Henceforth, unscrupulous!! Read the lease AND DO NOT SIGN!!!!! You will regret it.

Negative stars! I am so tired of this company. You might as well go buy a house since they are constantly LYING and dodging their responsibilities- leaving it to you and your expenses. I moved out of a property located at 3464 chandler cove way in Antioch TN on November 7, 2017 after two years of residency. I must say that I have never been charged more than my deposit after vacating a leased home. Not only did they take my entire deposit of $1676 but charged me an access of $300. For a house that was left in very good condition. ZERO STARS. Current resident of Progress Residential, but if I could be Cher and turn back time I would. Do not rent from this company if you have pets. They require a pet fee that in their contract that does not outline what it goes towards, i.e. damage of any kind or smells that your animals could leave behind. PSA!!!!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM Progress Residential !!!!!I called and gave them our 60 day notice and asked the person if we needed to come in and fill anything out, or send anything in to them and she told me NO that she would put it in the system and that was it! Then 20 days AFTER our 60 day notice passed they sent me a form to fill out and said we were past due giving them notice and are keeping $750 from our security deposit! It saddens me to share such a negative review, but after months of issues, and attempts to resolve such issues, I don't know where I should go next. Our home has provided nothing but headaches since we moved in. The home was not clean. The kitchen cabinets were sticky with grease. There was so much grease residue on the vents of the microwave I had to soak pieces in Goo Gone to be able to fully remove it.
