My wife and I mistakenly rented a site unseen house from this horrible company. We had to start the lease on November 10th, even though we were still employed ******* ** for a couple more weeks and wouldn't be able to get to the property until 19 days later. We got here (****** **) on Sunday afternoon of 11/28 and felt like we had been completely catfished. There is wood rotting on the front and back of this house, all the electrical outlets in the living room look as if theyre somehow burned, one is broken to where my 2 yea... read more

This is the worst company I dealt with. I tried to rent a house from them because I was assured that they had no minimum credit score. I paid $335 ($250 refundable holding fee, $50 application fee and $35 credit card convenience fee) then, two days later I was denied lease. The worst part was about the holding fee refund, I called several times and they put me on hold for 30+ minutes then the line gets disconnected, and when I finally talked to someone, they said that the fee takes 30 business days (about 45 days in total) t... read more

I am in the beginning of year two with Progress. When I moved it I did notice some discoloration on the ceiling of the master bathroom. I took photos for documentation. We quickly noticed our power bills were outrageous. Eventually, we noticed water pouring through the master bathroom ceiling. We discovered that the **** unit was leaking from the attic down into the bathroom. Long story short it took SEVERAL visits from an **** repair service to fix the issue and 3 separate visits to fix the water damage. Each time myself or... read more

Theyre f****** terrible. **************** representatives will yell at you, curse at you, hang up on you when theyre tired of talking, etc. charged us late fees and refused to waive them after they had system issues and posted utilities to my account after I had paid my rent, without notifying me of the circumstances. Told me I should be smarter with my money and that I should know I have bills to pay, not to spend all my money when the issue was in fact the late fee they refused to waive. If I could leave 0 starts I would a... read more

I would rate this company 0 stars if it was possible. Probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered on multiple occasions. I set up my auto pay through their rent cafe program with a Progress Residential rep on the phone. After months of checking the website and showing that I am enrolled in auto pay, I received a notice of demand to vacate premises. I could not figure out how I had a remaining balance with both my utilities and rent on auto pay. I called their customer service to figure out what was going on. ... read more

My fiance and I have had the worse experience ever with Progress Residential .It has been beyond frustrating since 2019. This is our first home experience and it has been a disaster. Our first month here (October 2019) We had a leak with the jacuzzi tub, heat not working & the glass on the storm dorm keeps sliding down. Here it is 2021 , we are experiencing the exact same issue but worser. The jacuzzi tub keeps leaking from upstairs to downstairs. Now as of ( November 2021) the other tub now leaks into the kitchen. Here I am... read more

I am a current tenant with Progress Residential for 3 years now and was living a peaceful life until I requested to paint the fence due to its curb appeal. The fence was fixed by one of their contracted companies, that did a subpar job. Progress stated that I would need to get approval from HOA. I waited to receive correspondence from a Progress Representative. On September 1, 2021 an email was sent to HOA regarding my request. That request was approved on September 8, 2021 at 11:07 am to paint the fence. I was to preface th... read more

Moved from Georgia to **************. Having been a Progress customer for two years, the move made sense to continue with Progress, albeit some odd charges and erroneous violations imposed on us.We chose this specific house due to one of the amenities on the property which was a fence for our service dog. We visited the property and toured the home in early/mid September and noticed the fencing material was placed in the back yard but no installation was started. We moved in at the end of October and the fence was not install... read more

Moved in 3 months ago and I still have black mold / mildew under trimming, caulking, and stripping. 40 dollars in parts, maybe 150 in labor. It hasn't been done after over a dozen attempts to escalate. They work with the most absolutely incompetent vendors and their own staff aren't much better. Vendor came by and was told progress only approved recaulking and white paint with a new water strip. The initial vendor requested new plastic on everything and repairing the water damage. The ** of service, **** told me he would per... read more
