I rented a house from them and the place was not in a good condition i have pictures of the problem I paid $3000 security deposit and my rent was $1800/ month. At the end of my contract they are not giving me my money back plus they are still trying to charge me $2000 dollars. Arguing that it was to clean carpets, change lightbulbs, change blinds and so many other things. I left the house in better conditions that I got it when I first move in. I send them letters with my complains I only got one response and email after ema... read more

Before I moved in communication was great. After I moved in it completely fell off. They are so unprofessional and if you have an issue they just transfer you off to someone and its a never ending cycle. No one knows how to send a simple invite link to use the smarthome features that Im paying for?!? Cmon!! This company is worthless and wish I could give it negative stars. From the other reviews Im not alone. Maybe yall should think about new management/ownership. Its a **** miracle you guys are still in buisness.

Im not going into full detail as I left Progress Residential an appropriate review today 10/29/21 on ******* You can read my words there for the specifics. Maintenance at this company is non existent. Therefore, unless you want to be lied to, pay out of pocket for repairs yourself that you shouldnt have to, etc. I would look elsewhere other than this company. They will charge you extra fees even after you sign a lease. The leasing agents, maintenance employees, etc. are all unprofessional, liars and rude. This place should N... read more

Progress bought out my existing rental property management company roughly 1/3 of the way through our lease. Our executed lease agreement with the initial company stated that all utilities did NOT have to be transferred over, and they took care of all that while just invoicing everything alongside our rent each month. In the middle of the day today, 4 months down the road after Progress took over for that initial company, our power suddenly shut off. Called power company, who informed me it had been shut off due to non-payme... read more

Progress customer service is terrible! My A/C was leaking and it took them well over a week to respond. I had to fix it myself. My children and I sat for 3 days with no working toliets. They raised my rent 10% each time I renewed. I have tried to find something else without renewing, but the 60 days notice makes this difficult. NO ONE will hold a place for 60 days. So I end up renewing. I moved in 2 years ago and there was no grass in the front yard. Just patches. Fast forward I recieved a noticed a noticed at the end of Sep... read more

K.W and many others that I have read your complaints below. I completely understand what you are dealing with; I am going through the same thing. I moved to ********* from Jax and I have lived in an association community. They are charging us fees when they are being charged nothing, the association sends a violation and will send it three times before any action is taken. Progress is charging us $45 for a violation when they can't even deliver it timely. I get emails for violations they received notice of in August but not ... read more

I recently applied for a residence and was charged a holding fee upfront. That is not the main issue. I was denied and not given a reason. The agent I was working with is now not responding to my texts or calls as I wanted to know why. With a 30 day return policy of the holding fee if you complete expenses and I wasnt sure if I should continue to apply through Progress rental.

This company is a scam. They basically force you into the houses before you really get a chance to evaluate things out of the fear of "multiple applications ready to move in now". Once you're in, they rarely fix things and if they do, its half assed. Just TRYING to get things fixed is worse than pulling teeth. I had mold in my carpet from when our AC broke one summer and it took over a YEAR to get it fixed. At that point it stunk, was falling apart and was a health hazard. Our fridge broke one day and it took over 3 weeks to... read more

If I could give this company A ZERO STAR I would !!! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE SCAM !!!!! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THEM..........I have applied to rent a home from them (Progress Residential) and had to jump through hoops everyday for a week between Email's phone calls to not just Progress but a third party RentCafe that no one would ever answer at either and when did answer would tell me to re-email or call and different department and I would still get the same run around, I still have not got ANY OF MY MONEY BACK. I started out wit... read more
